Luoyang![]() Luoyang High-Tech Metals Co. Ltd (LYHM) is a Molymet JV (through its subsidiary Eastern Special Metals Hong-Kong) with China Molybdenum Co. (CMOC) for production of Molybdenum Metal elements for industries such as steel, medicines, lighting, electronics, aerospace and others. Located in Luoyang, the province of Henan, China, its industrial facilities, built on an area of 11 hectares, have an annual production capacity of 1500 tons of molybdenum, which is allocated to the Chinese and other international markets. Its main products are metal pieces of molybdenum, such as bars, plates, sheets, wire, cathodes, etc. LYHM was acquired by CMOC in 2004 and the JV with Molymet was finalized in May 2010, through the purchase of 50% of the shares. This firm has been recognized as one of the 10 most important companies in the province of Henan in the area of technological and scientific innovation. It has cutting-edge facilities, including the biggest cold isostatic press in the country, the IF synthesis oven with the biggest capacity in China and unique lines of trefilation and lamination. The Board of Directors of Luoyang High-Tech Metals Co. Ltd. is made up of Yuxian Duan as President and John Graell as Vice-president. The other directors are Steele Li and Fernando Alliende.
